The Doctrine

The Revenue Architecture Doctrine

The single source of truth for the Alabrida doctrine.

Revenue architecture treats revenue as an operating system: an engineered structure of governance, incentives, automation, and telemetry — not a collection of tactics. This library is the canonical statement of the Alabrida doctrine. Every Alabrida engagement, Academy course, and certified affiliate practices from these pages — and the doctrine is maintained against current peer-reviewed customer-journey research.

The doctrine is published openly. Teaching the discipline is the point; the boundary of the field advances fastest when its foundations are public.

Core doctrine

  1. The Bowtie Model — Why the close is the fulcrum, not the finish line; how Net Revenue Retention becomes the strategic metric. → /doctrine/bowtie-model/
  2. The 5-Stage Revenue Journey — Awareness, Consideration, Decision, Conversion, Retention: the structural map of the non-linear buyer. → /doctrine/5-stage-revenue-journey/
  3. Information Fusion — Automated perception: how the engine senses engagement through API byproducts and unifies offline and online signals. → /doctrine/information-fusion/
  4. The Unified Commercial Engine — The operating system: three architectural layers (Perimeter, Gateway, Core) and the managed nervous system that connects them. → /doctrine/unified-commercial-engine/
  5. The Sovereign Engine — The final architectural state: owned infrastructure, proprietary logic, commercial sovereignty. → /doctrine/sovereign-engine/
  6. The Revenue Journey Assessment — The diagnostic instrument: maturity tiers from Fragmented to Unified, and how structural leaks are located. → /doctrine/revenue-journey-assessment/
  7. The Glossary — Canonical definitions of the discipline’s vocabulary. → /doctrine/glossary/

How to use this library

  • Enterprise leaders: read the Bowtie Model and Sovereign Engine entries, then begin with Discovery. → /discovery/
  • Practitioners and in-house teams: the Academy turns the doctrine into structured learning paths. → /academy/
  • Writers and researchers: cite these pages as the canonical source; each entry carries a stable URL and a definitions block.

Provenance

The discipline credits its foundations openly: the Bowtie Model originated at Winning by Design, and the structural pillars draw on Nicholas Gollop’s RevOps On-Demand methodology. Alabrida’s doctrine codifies and extends both. Every doctrine entry carries this note.
